Music with us! Oxfam Jam

For years, musical artists and performers alike connected to the message of Oxfam and promoted it in their stage. When we say Music Can Change the World, we really mean it! In the U.K., Oxjam is a popular series of Oxfam benefit concerts during October that promotes local artists to make a global impact. As a well-known event hosted by students, professionals, and any Oxfam-supporter, Oxjam is a fun way to get a community involved in aid for Oxfam as a whole. It continues to be wildly successful in the U.K.

This year, Chicago is one of three pilot cities to put on an Oxfam Jam. We join the ranks of New York and Minneapolis to bring the popular UK event to the United States. From across the pond, we bring the same energy to make a global impact through local music. Our Oxfam Jam will feature The South Bend, Duck&Goose and Saint Millie. Set at the Burlington Bar in Logan Square, our performers will show their best in an effort to raise money for Oxfam. What better way to spend your Tuesday evening on Febraury 25th than to rock out for a cause!

For a $15 ticket, come out to celebrate local music scene in Chicago. All proceeds go directly to Oxfam, because these incredible artists have agreed to play free of charge to help Right the Wrong! Every dollar spent for Oxfam is a dollar to fight hunger, injustice and poverty here at home and abroad! Whether it is humanitarian aid, supporting local farmers, or promoting campaigns, Oxfam dedicates time and resources to effective lasting solutions to end poverty, hunger and injustice.

We welcome you to jam with us to jam out poverty. Visit our event page to learn more and buy tickets! Grab your friends, neighbors, loved ones. We will see you soon!
